A sculptural piece shaped and sewn entirely by hand. Its complex construction makes exact repetition almost impossible, so slight variations in shape and finish become part of its character. No two are exactly alike.

More than a basket, it is a decorative object in its own right, displayed on its own or used as a textile vase for dried flowers.

Made by hand. Impossible to make twice.

    Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
