From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.
Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

This is my second Lorena canals rug and I’m just as in love as I was with the first! After the initial wash the rug is so beautiful and plush, it looks amazing in my nursery. I know it will hold up great because the one I bought five years ago for my last child still looks as good as the day we bought it! These rugs are durable and perfect for kids. Rug is lovely and a great addition to an alcove off our livingroom where our two-year-old grandson plays when he visits. I love the idea that it is washable if he spills something, yet it blends so well with our multicolored abstract livingroom area rug.
