DESCRIPTION

Donna Wilson is all for color! A woolen knit stool covering by the Scottish designer depicting a colorful pie chart becomes a washable wool rug once seen through Lorena's expert rug-making eyes. A nurturing collaboration for both as they claim to share a passion for craftsmanship and wool. Round and bright, it makes a versatile piece, in terms of shape and size, to add a whimsical touch and a pop of color to any room's decor. Each washable wool rug comes packed in a cotton tote bag that can be used for storage and includes a complimentary anti-slip underlay to fit under the rug and keep it in place.

  • Lightweight: flexible design that makes the rug easily machine washable without sacrificing quality.
  • Long Lasting: high-quality natural fibers to ensure maximum durability. It will grow with the families.

Wool rugs may shed fibers when new or during use. This is a natural characteristic of the wool fiber. Lay the rug flat for 2-3 days after unpacking. Afterward, gently brush or vacuum to restore the pile.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash separatetly at 30º maximum
  • Do no use bleach of fabric softeners
  • Use a gentle cycle if your product has braids or fringes
  • We recommend using our special sustainable soap
  • We recommend using our dryer balls to ensure a longer lifespan
  • Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave it in the washer
  • Avoid continuous exposure to sun
  • If you find a long thread cut it with scissors. Never pull it
  • Use a low-powered vacuum cleaner regulary to clean and counteract shedding.
  • Clean spots & absorbs liquids
  • Using a rug pad may help prevent excessive shedding.
  • Our Woolable rugs are recommended for children over 3 years old, as shedding can cause discomfort for babies and toddlers playing on the floor.
  • Avoid using cleaning robots or vacuums with beater bars to prevent damaging the pile.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
