Nos tapis sont synonymes de solidarité. Touchée par la vision d'enfants dont l'avenir est déterminé par la situation économique de leur famille, Lorena Canals a décidé d'apporter son propre soutien social en leur donnant accès à l'éducation. C'est ainsi qu'est né le projet Sakûla, une école maternelle dans le nord de l'Inde où les enfants des rues peuvent recevoir de la nourriture et une éducation. Actuellement, 120 enfants fréquentent l'école, et ce n'est pas fini.

Parce qu'il est fabriqué à la main par des artisans indiens et qu'il n'est pas le résultat d'une production de masse. Chaque produit Lorena Canals est soigneusement fabriqué à la main par nos artisans dans notre propre usine en Inde en utilisant des techniques artisanales ancestrales. Color specifics
Love it! Wanted to give some color help that I would have appreciated myself. The cream color is not as bright as the picture, closer to ecru. And yes, there is a purple undertone to the patterns, but not enough for me to change my mind about it.

Perfect design
I bought two large rugcycled rugs.
The design of the rugs is perfect. They are so beautiful.
Unfortunately, the rugs had a second hand shop smell. This is understandable as they are made from recycled material. Still the smell was too strong for me.
I washed them on the next day. I wanted to get rid of the smell and did not care about the washing instructions. I used too hot (60 degrees) water for washing.
The rugs did not smell and change the size after washing them in the washing machine and drying in the dryer. I washed them separatly as they are large. Unfortunately, one of the rugs changed the color. It is darker now.
I do not care about the color change as I love the idea that old clothes/rugs can have the second usage and become the beatiful rugs at one day. So, I keep rugs next to each other and enjoy that I can have the new rugs with smaller carbon foot print.
