This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. Oh my gosh, I adore this rug! It's so beautiful in person and very soft and comfortable to the touch. We have it in our playroom. After only having it a week or two, my daughter smeared a lipstick all over it - I was sure it was ruined. But after a little scrub with some stain remover and drying in the sun, it's good as new. I couldn't believe how easy it was to clean and how beautiful it still is. I plan to replace all our rugs with this brand now. Get one, you won't regret it! My only minor complaint is it sheds a bit when you vacuum.
