Bad smell + problems with cleaning

Unfortunately, I’m not quite satisfied with this purchase. When we unpacked the hedgehog, it had a very unpleasant smell. We didn’t have doubts while purchasing this item because we saw in the description that it’s allowed to be washed. We were surprised to find that the toy didn’t have a zipper and that you couldn’t take the inside part out so as to wash only the external part without overloading the washing machine with this bulky toy. It took a lot of time to get it dried. After the washing the initial smell went away but now it has this bad sour smell of something which couldn’t be soaked completely.
