Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

All items in the Handloom Legacy collection —except rugs— can be easily washed at home in the washing machine. It is essential to wash at a cold temperature, ideally at 20ºC (68ºF), to preserve the quality of the materials and extend their lifespan.

Handloom is a slow crafting process where each thread is placed one by one without the use of electricity. An ancestral technique that requires time, precision, and reflects the essence of true craftsmanship.
