From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.
Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. We received our rug without issue and it was more than we expected! Were using it for a nursery and couldn’t get over how soft and quality made it is! We’re very excited for our little one to crawl around on it!

I ordered a Kaarol Earth Rug and I had a bad surprise by opening the package, the rug smelled reall badly as if it has been stored in a cellar! Allthough i really love the design of it i am dissapointed by the condition of the rug :(
