Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Oh my gosh, I adore this rug! It's so beautiful in person and very soft and comfortable to the touch. We have it in our playroom. After only having it a week or two, my daughter smeared a lipstick all over it - I was sure it was ruined. But after a little scrub with some stain remover and drying in the sun, it's good as new. I couldn't believe how easy it was to clean and how beautiful it still is. I plan to replace all our rugs with this brand now. Get one, you won't regret it! My only minor complaint is it sheds a bit when you vacuum.
